DAY 1: TANGIER - TETOUAN - CHAOUEN

In this fascinating “Marvels of Morocco” tour, which spans 15 days, we begin our services at the Tangier port or airport. There our attentive Spanish-speaking driver will be waiting to accompany you in a private vehicle throughout the trip. After a warm meeting, we start the route towards Chaouen. We make our first stop in Tetouan. This amazing city, home to a medina declared a World Heritage Site, is admired for its beauty and its history as the capital of the Spanish Protectorate in Morocco, which has left a palpable influence on its architecture and culture. Also, if you are a fan of “The Time in Between”, you will recognize the settings that Sira Quiroga explored during the plot. Whether or not we visit Tetouan, we dedicate the afternoon of this first day to exploring Chaouen, also known as Chefchaouen, famous for being the “blue city” due to the distinctive color of its houses. Located in the Rif Mountains, strolling through its winding and steep streets becomes a highly pleasant experience. Its kasbah and panoramic viewpoints enrich our visit before retiring for the night in a charming riad.

The visit to Volubilis can be guided or enjoyed at your own pace, according to your preferences. A short distance from Volubilis, we discover another gem listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Meknes.
